Goal and constraints

Canada's federal and provincial government officials, healthcare institutions, education leaders, nonprofit organizations, and public sector technology decision-makers converged at the Rogers Centre in Ottawa on October 1, 2025. The audience included CIOs, procurement leads, and mission-driven operators evaluating cloud, AI, and data modernization strategies in a sovereignty-sensitive environment.

  • Establish AWS as the trusted cloud partner for Canadian public sector transformation
  • Drive $32M+ in qualified pipeline from senior government and institutional stakeholders
  • Deliver a world-class experiential event that connected cloud and AI innovation to real mission outcomes

Strategy

  • Built two parallel tracks — Executive Sessions for strategic decision-makers and Builder Sessions for architects and practitioners — to maximize audience relevance
  • Anchored messaging around Canada-specific priorities: data sovereignty, sustainability, and mission-critical service delivery
  • Secured high-profile speakers including John Ostrander (Deputy Minister, Canadian Parliament) and Joelle Pineau (Chief AI Officer, Cohere) to anchor the AI narrative with credibility
